Just moved to Wrocław for work, studies or an Erasmus exchange – or visiting for a few weeks? Finding a new beautician in a foreign city can be stressful, especially when salon menus and booking apps are in Polish. This guide covers everything you need before your first waxing appointment in Wrocław: which method to choose, how to prepare, how to book without speaking Polish, how to save with our offers – plus a Polish–English cheat sheet of treatment names.

Where to find us – a waxing studio by the Market Square

Easy Waxing is located at ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 1, on the ground floor of the Times office building, at the corner of ul. św. Mikołaja – a few minutes' walk from the Market Square (Rynek) in the Old Town. If you come by car, the most convenient option is the underground car park at ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 3. We are open Monday to Friday 9:00–21:00 and Saturday 9:00–18:00 (closed on Sundays and public holidays). Directions and a map are on our contact page.

Which hair removal method should you choose?

  • Soft (strip) wax – classic waxing with strips, most popular for legs, arms and underarms. We use our own chamomile wax, Easy Wax®.
  • Hard (stripless) wax – gentler on sensitive areas such as the bikini line, underarms and face.
  • Sugaring – our own natural Easy Sugar Wax® paste made of sugar, water and lemon juice, recommended for sensitive skin and for people prone to ingrown hairs.
  • Laser hair removal – a series of diode laser treatments; close to 90% effectiveness after 3–7 sessions. A good choice if you want long-lasting results.
  • Men's waxing – back, chest, legs, underarms and male Brazilian (boyzilian).

After waxing or sugaring your skin usually stays smooth for 2–5 weeks.

Bikini styles – what do the names mean?

  • Classic bikini (bikini line) – removes the hair that shows outside your underwear.
  • Deep (full) bikini – removes most of the hair in the intimate area.
  • Brazilian – removes hair from the front and back; a thin landing strip can be left on request.
  • Hollywood – removes all the hair.

Read more about the styles and what the treatment looks like on our Brazilian and bikini waxing in Wrocław page.

How to book without speaking Polish

How to prepare for waxing

  • Hair should be 0.5–1 cm long – stop shaving about 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
  • On the day of the treatment, do not apply creams, lotions or oils to your skin.
  • Do not sunbathe or use a tanning bed the day before waxing.
  • If you use retinoids, acids or medication that affects the skin, tell your beautician.
  • For 24 hours after the treatment, avoid hot baths, saunas, sun and intense workouts – and after underarm waxing, skip deodorant.

How to save – offers for new clients and students

  • Welcome offer – 20% off your first visit for new clients. Book with the “Book online” button on our website, write “Discount for the first visit” in the message for the studio and show your ID at the reception.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to speak Polish to book a waxing appointment?

No. You can book online in English via Booksy and use the cheat sheet above to pick the right treatment. If you are not sure which option to choose, describe what you need in the note to the salon.

Is waxing at the salon hygienic?

Yes. Reusable tools are sterilised in a class B autoclave and the skin is disinfected before the treatment. Read more on our hygiene standards page.

Does the first wax hurt a lot?

The first treatments are usually the most noticeable, especially in the bikini area, but with each session the hair gets finer and waxing becomes more comfortable. If your skin is sensitive, hard wax or sugaring is a good choice.
